Please note: this course is in Portuguese. The videos are short and very visual, so you can follow the process even with little Portuguese.

It took us years of testing to find the materials and the way of working we use at Caementa today. In this course, we share those choices with you and show how we personalise our pieces.

There are 20 short, straight-to-the-point videos, filmed in our studio, with a written guide to check while you practise.

What you will learn

  • Which clay we use and how we recognise the right moment to stamp.
  • Which stamps we use and how we align and press the letters.
  • How we use sponges to support and finish the pieces.
  • Which slips we choose, how we dilute them and how we fill the letters.
  • How we remove excess colour and make small touch-ups.
  • Which glaze we use, how we apply it and how these steps fit together in our process.

What's included

  • 20 videos in 5 modules, about 13 minutes in total.
  • A PDF guide with material references, dilutions, signs of the right clay stage and the firing schedules we use.
  • Files to download and keep, to watch and rewatch at your own pace.

Who it's for

For anyone who wants to learn about Caementa's materials and personalisation techniques, whether you're taking your first steps or already make ceramics and want to understand how we get our finishes.

It's an introductory course, based on our own experience. It doesn't cover making pieces from scratch or programming and using kilns.

How you receive the course

Once payment is confirmed, you'll receive an e-mail with links to download the videos and the PDF guide. We recommend saving the files on a computer.

Before you buy

The course is 100% digital and in Portuguese. Materials are not included. To apply the process, you need ceramic materials and access to a ceramic kiln, your own or through a firing service.

Caementa stamps are available separately on our website, as individual sets or as a full pack.
